Danguole Rucinskiene, Head of Client Billing, shows a great example of how Civinity gives employees the opportunity to grow together with the company.

Danguole‘s journey with Civinity began in 2006. At that time, Danguole had 6 years of experience as an accountant. Seeing her potential, we invited her to join our team.

This was her first role in day-to-day accounting work, managing documents and entering them into systems. Danguole quickly proved her ability to cope with the tasks she was given and soon became the accountant at Civinity, responsible for the company’s bookkeeping, from the source documents through to the preparation of the financial and tax accounts.

In order to grow and improve her skills, Danguole has attended training and various courses to gain more accounting knowledge and insights to help her develop in the financial field. In 2020, Danguole was once again noticed and appreciated by her colleagues and became Head of Client Billing.

“Today, I am proud to have been the Head of Customer Billing for almost two years. This promotion was unexpected, and I did not hesitate when I heard about it and agreed to climb another step up in my career.” – she says.

Danguole’s decision required her to say goodbye to some nostalgic accounts and demonstrate her leadership skills in taking the billing team forward.

“I see my career in this company as a great opportunity to develop: first as a specialist, and then as a manager. And I always wish my colleagues to pursue their goals purposefully, not to be afraid of difficulties and to look at every challenge as a new opportunity to improve.” – Danguole emphasises.
