“Civinity Mājas”, in cooperation with “Civinity Group”, donates a vehicle to Ukraine

On 13 February this year, AS “Civinity Mājas”, in cooperation with “Civinity Group”, held a joint event during which a vehicle was donated to Ukraine, along with heartfelt wishes of hope from the company’s employees. The donated vehicle was received by Saulvedis Vārpiņš, Chairman of the Council of the Latvian Council of Sworn Advocates, who is also assisting in delivering the vehicle to Ukraine. The vehicle began its journey to its destination on February 14 of this year.

Diāna Frīdenberga, Member of the Management Board of AS “Civinity Mājas”: “We are truly pleased to be part of the global support being provided to Ukraine. Every donation matters, especially at a time when Ukraine is facing harsh winter conditions. We clearly understand that Ukraine is fighting not only for its own country, but for Europe as a whole. Therefore, ‘Civinity Mājas’, together with ‘Civinity Group’, made the decision to donate this vehicle to the brave people of Ukraine who are bearing the burden of this war on their shoulders. We hope that the donated bus will serve for a long time and provide much-needed support under wartime conditions.”

At the event, employees of AS “Civinity Mājas” gathered to express their support and took part in creating a book of wishes. During the event, alongside the handover of the donated vehicle, the company’s position regarding engagement in socially significant activities was also highlighted, emphasizing its practical and targeted support for Ukraine in response to current needs.

Deividas Jacka, Chairman of the Board of the Civinity Group: “This is not the first car we are donating to Ukraine. Before that, two vehicles left from Lithuania, accompanied by an active volunteer for Ukraine, and a well-known businessman Karolis “Tarandukas” Sankauskas. Yesterday we celebrated Lithuania’s Independence Day. 108 years ago, in conditions of great uncertainty, the signatories of the Lithuanian Independence Act made an especially bold decision that still shapes our identity. Today, more than ever, we clearly understand what freedom is and how dearly it costs, therefore we send not only our best wishes, but also real support to our Brothers and Sisters in Ukraine who are fighting for it – for their and our freedom.”

The donated minibus is intended to ensure mobility for psychologists who require transportation for work purposes in order to support affected families. This type of assistance is particularly important in regions where infrastructure has been severely damaged and everyday mobility options are limited.

“Civinity Mājas” and “Civinity Group” express their gratitude to all employees who were involved in implementing this initiative, as well as to everyone who continues to support Ukraine. The company will continue to monitor the situation and seek further opportunities to lend a helping hand to the people of Ukraine, reaffirming that solidarity, compassion, and practical action are values that unite and strengthen society even in challenging times.
