ViAt the end of this year Civinity Vilnius employees will move to the new office in the newly developed office building OFFICE 100 in Naujamiestis – Vilnius district, which is already liked by the biggest start-ups based in Lithuania. In the new office Civinity employees will work according to the Activity Based Working principles, which are still rarely applied in Lithuania.
The new office will employ over 150 Civinity group employees. Until now, the group’s companies and their employees have been in different offices in various districts of Vilnius. As the organization grew, company began to think about finding more comfortable premises where all the group’s employees would work. Office installation works are currently underway, and it is planned, that Civinity employees will move into the new office in December this year.
The new office will be equipped according to the “Activity Based Working” principle, which is still rarely used in Lithuania. This principle allows employees to freely choose the workspace depending on the tasks of the day. Based on this principle, the office is divided into different spaces: full concentration, regular work, cooperation, meetings, and resting zone. The company also intends to maintain the hybrid work organization model that has been introduced when employees choose to work part-time from the office or from home. The office will not have any individual offices, except for those employees for whom a stable workplace is necessary due to the specifics of their work.
“In the new office no manager will have a separate office and will work in the same spaces with the entire team. We made this decision because we believe that only joint work and direct communication gives the best results. The office layout is designed to provide all employees with the necessary privacy and quiet workspaces, so we believe that the new working principle will pay off and increase productivity and team atmosphere at work.” – says Deividas Jacka, Civinity group’s shareholder and CEO.
The new office will be located in the newly built 7-storey office building OFFICE100, located on Naugarduko Street,in the Naujamiestis – district of the capital, which is already popular with start-ups. There is also located the office of the online second-hand fashion store Vinted and a technology town is planned, where the cyber security solutions company Tesonet will be located. The new OFFICE100 focuses not only on efficient workplace planning, but also on recreation areas: the tenants of the building will be able to enjoy the terrace on the roof, a leisure area in the territory of the business center.
Paulius Petkus and Radvilė Valatkaitė, architects of the PAO Architects, help to design and equip the new Civinity office. The project of the business center OFFICE100 was implemented by the real estate developer UAB Skraidenis and the real estate consulting company Newsec.
